Mock Tutor Support

Mock Tutor helps families practise 11+ skills with timed tests, creative writing and an AI voice tutor. For help, email hello@saltypistachio.com. Please include your app version and a short description of the problem. Avoid including a child’s full name or schoolwork unless needed.

Free tutoring and subscriptions

You can try ten minutes of AI tutoring without payment. Afterwards, a parent can subscribe to Mock Tutor Monthly for £19.99 per month in the UK, or the local App Store price. The trial does not automatically become paid. In the app, open Settings → Tutoring plans and subscription to subscribe, restore purchases or check access.

To cancel renewal, open your device’s Settings, tap your Apple Account, then Subscriptions. Paid access continues until the end of the paid period. Reinstalling does not reset the free trial. Subscription purchases and refunds are handled by Apple.

Your practice

The app includes 96 rapid tests and 72 creative-writing tasks across age bands 6–7 through 11–12. Rapid tests have sixteen questions and a ten-minute limit. Writing tasks allow ten minutes and receive qualitative feedback rather than a right-or-wrong mark. Your saved work remains on your device. Ask the tutor to recheck anything that seems incorrect.

Privacy

A parent must allow sharing with AI before tutoring or paper review. Avoid uploading personal details. Use Settings to manage learning history, withdraw AI permission or delete local learner data.
