Fantasy Mate Privacy Policy

This policy explains how The Salty Pistachio LTD (“we”, “us” or “our”) handles information when you use the Fantasy Mate mobile app and its support pages.
Information we handle
- Account and app identifiers: an anonymous Firebase user ID and technical identifiers needed to operate the service.
- Fantasy football information: the FPL team ID you enter, optional local account nickname or team name, preferences, recommendation history, squad snapshots and feature activity.
- Games and community features: quiz or leaderboard display names and scores when you choose to use those features.
- Notifications: a push-notification token and notification preferences.
- Subscriptions: product, entitlement and subscription-status information. Apple processes payment details; we do not receive your full card details.
- Analytics, diagnostics and advertising: app interactions, device and operating-system information, approximate region, crash or performance information, and identifiers used for contextual ad delivery, consent, frequency limits and fraud prevention.
- Support: information you include when contacting us.
How we use information
We use information to provide and improve Fantasy Mate, load your squad, generate recommendations, save preferences, provide notifications and games, verify Premium access, show contextual advertising to eligible free users, measure app performance, prevent abuse and respond to support requests.
Where applicable, we rely on performance of our service, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the app, consent for advertising technologies where required, and compliance with legal obligations.
Services we use
We use service providers only as needed to operate Fantasy Mate:
- Google Firebase and Google Cloud for anonymous authentication, databases, cloud functions, analytics, messaging and infrastructure.
- Google Mobile Ads and its consent platform for contextual advertising, consent choices, ad delivery and fraud prevention. Ads are requested as non-personalised.
- Qonversion to check subscription products, entitlements and purchase status.
- Apple for App Store distribution, payments and subscription management.
- Fantasy Premier League public endpoints and, where used, Statorium public football data to provide football information.
- OpenAI may process public football and player information on our servers to help create player summaries; we do not send your Apple payment details or contact messages for this purpose.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. Processing may take place outside your country with appropriate safeguards.
Advertising and your choices
Fantasy Mate asks for consent information before requesting ads where required. The app requests non-personalised ads rather than ads selected from your activity across other apps. When Google requires an ongoing privacy-choice entry point, you can open Settings → Ad privacy choices.
Retention
We retain app data while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. Provider logs and legally required transaction records may remain for a limited period under provider or accounting requirements.
Delete your account and data
You can request immediate in-app deletion from Settings → Your data → Delete account. This deletes your Fantasy Mate authentication record and linked cloud data, including saved team data, preferences, recommendations, quiz scores and notification tokens. Local onboarding data is also cleared from the device.
Deleting your Fantasy Mate account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage subscriptions separately in Apple’s subscription settings. Apple and Qonversion may retain limited purchase records as required for transaction history, fraud prevention, accounting or legal compliance.
Children
Fantasy Mate is not directed to children under 13 or below the applicable age of digital consent in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who cannot lawfully consent.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent. UK and EEA users may also complain to their local data-protection authority. To exercise a right, contact us and provide enough information to identify the relevant account without sending a password.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required.
