These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to CraftStories, provided by The Salty Pistachio LTD (“we”, “us”). CraftStories lets you photograph and keep a private record of creative work. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. Please also read the CraftStories Privacy Policy.
Accounts and family use
An adult must create and manage a CraftStories account. Children may enjoy the app with an adult’s supervision, but should not create their own account or provide their own email address. You are responsible for activity through your account and for keeping your password and devices secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Your creations
You keep any rights you have in the photos, titles, notes, and other material you add to CraftStories. You give us a limited permission to store, process, and display that material to you as needed to provide the service. This does not give us permission to sell your creations or use them in advertising. The app does not have a public gallery, but you should protect any photo links you choose to share.
You are responsible for what you upload. Only add material you are entitled to use, and respect the privacy of anyone shown in a photo, especially children. Do not upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing material, or content you do not have permission to store. We may remove content or restrict an account when reasonably necessary to address misuse, a legal request, or a security risk.
Using the service
You may use CraftStories for personal, lawful purposes. Do not try to access another person’s account or data, interfere with the app or its services, bypass security measures, or copy or reverse-engineer the software except where applicable law permits. CraftStories’ software, branding, and design belong to us or our licensors; these Terms give you only the right to use the app while you comply with them.
CraftStories currently uses an online account and cloud sync. Some features need an internet connection, while pending changes may remain on your device until they sync. Keep your own copies of important photos and memories. We work to make the service reliable, but cannot promise that access, syncing, or storage will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
Changes, ending use, and deletion
We may change or discontinue features, or update the app, where reasonably necessary. You may stop using CraftStories at any time. Deleting the app from a device does not delete your online account or cloud-stored creations. You can delete individual creations in the app. To request deletion of your account and associated information, email hello@saltypistachio.com from the email address linked to your account. Our Privacy Policy explains more about deletion and retention.
We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the service and its users. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Responsibility and legal rights
To the extent permitted by law, CraftStories is provided “as is” and “as available”. We are not responsible for losses caused by misuse of your account, an unavailable device or connection, or a third-party service outside our control. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits your statutory consumer rights.
Updates and contact
We may update these Terms as the app or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here with a new effective date and give notice where required. Changes will apply prospectively, subject to applicable law. For questions, contact hello@saltypistachio.com.
