Signing in
Use the email address and password for your CraftStories account. If you have forgotten your password, choose the password reset option on the sign-in screen. An internet connection is needed to create an account, sign in or reset a password.
Saving and syncing creations
Add a creation from the Journal tab, choose or take a photo, enter a title and date, and tap Save. You can add notes, categories and tags. Changes saved on your device wait to sync when a connection is available. Open Profile to check the sync status and retry sync if needed. Keep copies of important original photos.
Photos and camera
CraftStories asks for photo or camera access when you use that feature. You can manage these permissions in your device’s Settings app. Microphone access is not needed.
Themes
Open Profile > Theme customization. Choose Default, Joyful, Elegant, Dark, High Contrast, Retro or Color Flow. Your selection is saved on the device. Color Flow slowly changes its palette; it stays still when Reduce Motion is enabled in your device’s accessibility settings.
Deleting your account
In CraftStories, open Profile > Delete account. Enter your account password and confirm the deletion. This deletes your sign-in account and starts removal of your cloud-stored creations and photos. CraftStories clears its journal index, pending changes and retained photo files on that device. Some cached data may remain until you uninstall the app, including on other devices where you used the account. Deletion cannot be undone. Deleting or uninstalling the app alone does not delete your online account.
If you cannot access your account, contact hello@saltypistachio.com from the email address associated with it. We may need to verify ownership before helping with an account or data request.
